I think maintaining weight is one of the major concerns of every dieter once they have reached their goal. If you are like me, have achieved great success from the Zig Zag diet before, you should know that this diet is so powerful that it seems to be impossible to maintain your weight without continue losing weight
Listen carefully… I’m not boosting around that I have reached my goal But in fact, I’m still far away from my goal. But, I think that I should now slow down my progress, so that I can allow my body to familiarize with my diet and eventually reach a “resting point” where I can maintain my weight. By slowly reducing the gap, I strongly believe that I can continue to lose weight, but in a less intensive manner… And slowly, allow my body to maintain at a certain — my goal!

The Truth Of Lose Weight With Detox
3 weeks ago, I stumbled upon a website called “The Body Detox SECRET” that shows people how can they detox their body safely and heathily, thus allowing them to achieve long term health. I have heard a lot about lose weight with detox, however, after following the free 7 days detox course from the website, I realize that Detox is not a solution for weight loss.
According to the website, there are about 20+ extreme detox diets that claim can help you to detox your body and allow you to lose weight miraculously. However, these diets do not point out the fact that the weight that you are losing is mainly water weight because when you are detoxing your body, you will eliminate toxin through urination and sweat.
In fact, many people complain that they regain their weight after they stop the diet for few days. This shows that detox is indeed not a solution for weight loss.
I have emailed the writer about this issue and he replies me that :
Detox is not a direct solution towards weight loss. But, it will help to enhance your weight loss process if it is being done correct.
Just like the Zig Zag diet that you were telling me, Detox aims to restore your body natural state and allow your body system to go back to its optimum level, thus improving your general metabolism. With a higher metabolism, you will be able to lose weight easily. I think the theory behind losing weight correctly with detox should be the same as the weight loss diet that you are following. The difference is the methods used.
I did not write anything for the past 3 weeks because I’m following the detox diet provided by BodyDetoxSECRET.com. The diet is totally different from what I have found in the Internet. 1) Is ZigZag diet the same as the Calorie Shifting diet?
ans : Yes, they are the same. Both of them use the theory of alternating your caloric intake between 3 stages - high, medium and low calorie. The idea of alternating your caloric intake is to prevent your body metabolism from falling during dieting.
2) Why is the diet better than the traditional diet plan such as low calorie, low fat diets?

Whilst your nutritional intake and your eating style do contribute to your weight to some extent, often, the greatest reason behind weight gain is due to low metabolism. You should have seen some of your friends that just can’t gain any weight even though they eat a lot, and you will gain weight easily just by eating some snacks. This is the difference between people with low and high metabolic rate.
On the other hand, the traditional diets such as low cal and low fat only resolve the superficial problems which are excessive nutrients and bad eating style. Ultimately, the diet followers are required to restrict their nutritional intake, which will bring them into the vicious cycle of weight gain. Whilst they will receive some results in the beginning, after some time, when their metabolism fall, they will gain weight again.
3) Besides dieting, what would you recommend me or others to do to lose weight?
Actually, the formula of losing weight is very simple - “healthy diet + exercise = healthy weight loss”. Since you’re already following the Zig Zag diet, you will still need some exercises to improve the result. Walking or jogging are very good for weight loss. You should exercise at least 30 minutes EVERYDAY without fail.
