A New Lease on Life
I signed the lease for our new home this week and despite the fact that my household goods are still several weeks from arriving, I feel a bit better already. Though my poor hand needs time to recover from all the signing. As if signing my own name fifty million times were not enough, I also had to sign for Sean using a power of attorney which required me to write a big long sentence wherever his signature was required. And I write VERY big and the alloted space was itty bitty. They need to give out stamps with POAs!! :P

Our new apartment is among the nicest we have ever lived in, yet comes with the cheapest rental price tag, thanks to a great special this company was currently running. Along with the hardwood floors I already shared about, I also have a kitchen that is larger than a postage stamp, a beautiful fireplace with mantle, a vanity area separate from the masters bathroom, and a lovely foresty lake view, to be enjoyed from all of the rooms with windows. Peapod is pleased with her new room as she can hide in the closet and has two doors in her room..."two wike me" she said. The number two is most impressive to her since turning two. :o) If one has to run away from their life in progress, I must say the entire unfortunate ordeal can be made a bit better by living nearby many generous folks, being near family members, and having an adorable new home in which to start over in. ;o)

I took pictures to share with Sean, along with you bloggy buddies, but realized when I went to upload the pictures that I left the camera cord behind in Washington. I only managed to bring half the necessary items for my webcam as well; the camera but not the software, so poor Sean hasn't seen any pictures of Peapod for nearly a month now. Ooopsie! Hopefully I will be able to get back to picture uploading soon, whenever the much anticipated household goods arrive. :D

P.S. Does anybody else think I should add a category label on my blog entitled "moving far too frequently"? Kidding...sort of.
